A 9 second capable GTR beating a 10 second Bugati, it's not out of the question. Bugatti is a 140mph car(1/4 mile), it's very possible the GTR is a higher mph car then that.

EDIT(adding #'s)

Bugatti:
0–100 km/h (0–62.1 mph) 2.5 seconds[11]
0–160 km/h (0–99.4 mph) 5.5 seconds
0–240 km/h (0–149.1 mph) 9.8 seconds
0–300 km/h (0–186.4 mph)[12] 16.7 seconds
0–400 km/h (0–248.5 mph)[13][14] 50 seconds
Standing quarter-mile (402 m)[14] 10.2 seconds at 230 km/h (142.9 mph)

Modded GTR:
An AMS GTR went 146mph in the 1/4 mile in March(with a 9.9 ET). With the speed of development of the GTR platform currently, who knows what the highest trap speed is currently.

Also, there is a reason why buggati costs 1.5 million dollars. It is an incredible piece of art and engineering. 80% of the car is made of the same materials that make airplanes. There is no way even riced up GTR can keep up with it.

They are racing in moscow unlim 500, which is 1 mile racing.

I understand that, but an easy way to compare and understand capabilities is a standard time/distance most here are familiar with. The MPH in the 1/4 will give you a good idea of the kind of power a car makes.

I don't see why it's so unbelievable to a car forum that a car is faster then another car. Who cares if it's 1.5 million and has nice materials and engineering. There are DSM's faster then a Bugatti(a lot of them actually).

They are nice cars, but they are not the fastest things on the road.

We need a sweet track like that around here. And that skyline owner definately voided the warranty if he modded it, so I think it can't be true. No GTR owner would ever do that.

Thank you! I agree just because it's 1.5 million dollars doesn't mean it cant be beat!

Haha! And my old ebay strut tower bar was also made of "aircraft grade aluminum, so what? Like was said, are we all new to the fact that a modded car can be capable of beating a much more expensive car?

One other thing to consider, it's pretty wet out. Who knows what traction control shiz was going on. Either way, I'm not saying that that Bugatti should or shouldn't have beat that GTR, but it isn't out of the question for the GTR to be faster(in time, there will be a ton of GTR's MUCH faster).

If you watch closely, you can see the Bugatti wasn't going all out the first run, the second run he was. I'd say they're a pretty even match, the Switzer cars are no joke. The Bugatti would definitely be faster top end, but in a mile race on wet pavement, they looked pretty even.

And that skyline owner definitely voided the warranty if he modded it, so I think it can't be true. No GTR owner would ever do that.

Ha, you're funny. :rollinglaugh:

Well, I know that it took John Shepherd 7.70 seconds to reach 191 mph. However, can he maintain this speed for 15 minutes and not self destruct? Can the ride be just as comfortable at 50mph as it is at 240mph? Can you get into your talon and genuinely feel the satisfaction of getting into one of the best supercars in the world? No matter how fast my DSM would ever be, I would trade it for a Lambo, Porsche, Ferrari, Bentley, Bugatti, even a BMW in a heartbeat, because it is more to the car than just going fast in a straight line. Plus what do you mean by "faster than bugatti". What is the definition of "faster"? A quatermile race? Quatermile means absolutely nothing.
