Hey guys I've been having slowness problems with my car since I got it. The car is an auto awd. The problem is if I'm at a dead stop and floor it, it takes about 3-4 seconds before it really starts going to town. Anybody have any info on what I could do to help fix it? Just ask if you want/need more info to diagnose this problem.

this is an automatic correct? are you using the stock maf setup? im also assuming a stock turbo?

make sure the wastegate arm is connected to the flapper, if it is, make sure the flapper with move freely when disconnected.

check the line coming from the wastegate, and follow it all the way back to the boost source. make sure you dont have any leaks. also try connecting the wastegate hose directly to a boost source to bypass any boost controller.

a boost leak test would be a good idea as well if its been a while. could have a few small holes bleeding off boost.

if none of this seems to help anything, you might want to start looking for exhaust leaks

The guy told me he had it tuned, and not too touch anything because it was tuned for this setup, so I'm assuming it is

What did it come with to "Tune" with? Dsmlink? SAFC? AEM?

You could always build up the auto trans and get a TCUgo. (i had one on a stock tranny with no cooler or anything and blew it up 2 weeks after installing) Basically a paddle shifter for your auto dsm.

Well i don't want to put it in if it's going to blow. and build up the tranny? i mean i kinda understand that meaning make it stronger... but normally when you step on it in a car auto or man power should be there no matter what, my other talon was stock and it was faster than this one off the line
