Get over yourself Matt D! It was a joke- yes, I'm from MN. Yes, I happen to prefer living in Texas and am embracing the culture.
Not out to "prove" anything.
I completely agree with this. I am very happy we made the move and am not going to hide my emotions regarding it, just like I did not hide my emotions towards Minnesota while we were still living up there. If it irritates someone then so be it, don't read my posts and threads :) I think we both prefer the culture down here which is obviously a personal decision; if you're happy living in MN then great, I'm happy for you, but don't rain on our parade just because we found happiness elsewhere.

Of course you agree! You're required by that marriage document you mentioned earlier!

Since when is adventuring out and experiencing more of life looked down upon? From the sounds of it, Tom really enjoyed living in SoCal for the years he did, but decided MN was better suited for raising a family. Considering the cost of living out there I definitely don't blame him.

Exactly. MattD is a hater (or a hobbit).

I call it as I see it, deal with it. :)
hobbit (n): one of an imaginary race of half-size people living in holes
Nope, try again. Hermit, maybe?
hermit (n): A person who has withdrawn from society and lives a solitary existence; a recluse.
Nope, keep trying.
