I need the special tool to adjust the tension on the timing belt for a 4g63t 6 bolt. Unless some one knows a differnt way. My timing belt was loose and it jumped a tooth.

U can use a threaded battery tie down rod.

vfaq.com is your friend.

Which tool are you looking for? The long threaded rod or the tool to rotate the tensioner pulley? The tool to rotate the tensioner pulley you can get from lisle tools or any tool supplier. If I were closer I'd let you use one of the ones I have. The threaded rod you can make and you can see that on vfaq like stated already.

use a screwdriver to pry up on it. then just make sure the hydro tensioner is within the spec range.

or a pry bar. It's better than waiting.
