i recently did a bs eliminator, got the motor in and have had it running for about a half hour, turned the car off, and today it will not start, has fuel, spark and compression across the board. 160 all of them. also its a newer timing belt and its tight. so could of it jumped timing? any suggestions?

If it jumped timing your compression would be sh*t. Just check the marks to verify. How is it turning over? Just cranking, or is it catching a little and shutting off? How exactly did you verify you have spark and fuel?

i just got done checking the timing and it was off. so im gonna get a new tensioner and line it up, it was catching and shuttin off. what does that mean?

If it just skipped one tooth you'll be fine, but you're lucky. How did it skip, tensioner not set correctly?

well i put a new timing belt in and still doesn't run. i have a thermal gasket and you can see flames come out. like the valves arnt sitting in time or its injecting too late. or spark. out of ideas???

You can't have your timing right then. I'm not sure what gasket your talking about. If flames are coming out of it then the gasket is not even close to sealing correctly.

the timing is dead on and still wont fire up, not really sure where to go from here had good comp, fuel pressure seems to be fine and all it will do is turn over
