Ok so after looking under the car, getting everything cleaned up, i found something i missed earlier. Where the rod connects to the crank, there is a very slight indention probably where the rod cap hit the crank. I will post up pics later.
Should I:
1. Have the crank turned?
2. Replace it with another 2.0 crank?
3. if the damage isnt too substantial would it be alright to leave it as is?
And is there anyone local that has a engine hoist and engine stand that i can borrow this weekend.
Thank you
Tom

My vote is to get that $100 virgin crank off tuners.

Replace the crank. Its gonna suck doing it but yeah. Don't run a turned crank. Those are not really all that great.

Im going to end up replacing it. So who has a cherry picker and engine stand that i can borrow.
I may as well do it as i dont want the bearings wearing faster than they need to.

You should put new bearings in with a new crank.
