Well my car has had a slipping clutch and a tranny that grinds into second more than R Kelly does on teeny boppers. I've had my new clutch sitting here in my room for about a month, but I've been waiting to install it until i get a new tranny. Well this Saturday when we head to San Diego to party, we're gunna also pick up 2 jdm galant vr4 trannies for 700 bux total for both. Pretty excited. My car should be ready for the road trip to MN in no time now!!

that second tranny is for me right?
Yeah, my car has that R. Kelly thing going on now also. Hopefully the new trannies are in decent shape.

no its not for you! and ya they're in good shape. My buddy has a hook up out there on trannies. Actually I don't know how many people here have heard of the infamous Manny from the DSM world who rips people off on the trader and tuners. Well my buddy Sean knows him, and met the guy who hooks Manny up with the trannies he sells on the trader, and now my buddy Sean gets jdm gvr4 trannies from this place for 250 a pop. and Sean just so happened to have 2 of em, and 2 of us need trannies. So we're gettin em for 350 a piece, not to bad if you ask me.

Picked up the trannies yesterday! Now we just gotta put em in. God I hate doing trannies. I haven't met a person yet who has as much problems putting them in as me. We usually get them in about like 80% of the way as in like in PLACE where you can start putting the bolts back in. It's like the casing just wants to rub against the pressure plate and it doesn't wanna get in that last little bit. The end usually consists of 2 of us with huge pry rods making it get in that last little bit. I don't see how you guys do this crap on jackstands in your driveway.

Ive helped guide like 20 trannys on and ive never had a problem with them not going on all the way, I dont see how you dont think you can do it on jackstands in the driveway, haha.

hahaha, see that's exactly what drives me nutz, i don't know why its so tuff. I've only done 2 1g awd's, and about to do 2 more. Both the ones we did were the same, they went in the same difficult way. Hopefully this time it goes nicer. Maybe it just comes with experience or sumthin.

well we took out my tranny today. Took us about 4 hours. Tomorrow the new one goes in. I hope it goes smooth. But first I have a couple questions. When we took out the passenger side axel, there is this green, i dunno what to call it, i guess coupling that goes into the tranny. How the heck does that thing come out? We couldn't get it out for the life of us.

You mean the Axle? That is the only thing going into the tranny and it is held in there with a c clip that you have to wiggle around and pull on the axle at the same time and it should pop out.
