I have 17x8, +35 offset on mine. I had it on my 1G and my 2G. 235/45-17.

Too bad when you came over the vehicle was on jacks, otherwise it would've been a perfect example.

Did you have rubbing problems with the P235/45R17's? I have the same size but they are very bald.. So with new tread I was thinking that they might be a problem.. I was gonna go P235/40R17's to be safe. I will go with the 235/45R17's if you didnt have any problems with it.

Chris, lets borrow one wheel (or two) and just check fitment on my car while the tranny is out!

I would be willing to do this Kevin.

There are new 17x9 and 17x9.5 Rota Grids. You should check 'em out. They look greattt....

I ran a 235/45/17 on a 17x8 +35mm on my DSM and I thought it looked really good. the rears were tucked in just a little, and the fronts stuck out about a half inch. With about a 5mm spacer the rears would have sat flush. No need to clearance the rear control arm either. My winter wheels are 1st gen 3/s VR4 wheels, and with those I needed to grind a little bit off the flange of the rear control arm since they're +40mm offset. Same size tires as the summers, and the fronts sat flush with the top edge of the fender.

I've been running 235/40-17's for years on my Rota Sub Zero's(I think 7.5 wide?), no issues. But I'd like to step the wheel width to 8.5 or 9" and do 255's. If there is any good info about something like this, any links would be great.

I'm running 235-45-17's on 17x8 Rotas with 35mm offset. My car is also lowered on Eibach Sportlines. I'm having a problem with the fronts rubbin my fenders. Plenty of people on here have seen the damage to my tires. I need to roll my fenders, and I think that will help take care of that issue.

Yeah I saw your tires. All you need is a wooden baseball bat and massage the fender outwards. I would have done it asap before it did anymore damage though!
