What our military decides to do with the children makes me sick.

Cameras are easily mistaken for RPG's, that journalist should have known better. <sarcasm>
And I only see one dude with a lowered AK, anyone else see any more guns? The pilot reports multiple RPG's(cameras) and multiple AK's. This is ridiculous, and the cover up by the military is unforgiveable.

I'm not politically active, nor do I ever express how I feel about this stuff. My brother was serving over there during the earlier stages of this war and know how he feels and he's told me things about it. I would rather stay out of this debate but I'll just say,
To all the soldiers who have served over there, Thank you.
(I'm not saying this video is right or wrong nor am I approving or disapproving the actions of the soldiers in this video. I have my opinions and just keeping them to myself)

Poor judgement surely.
But watching something like that on a video from the comfort of my bed here in Minnesota is quite different then actually being there. So I, unlike some others obviously, don't feel educated or experienced enough in a situation like that to sit here and point fingers.

I do agree with you. The video is incomplete, What needs to be released along with the video is what evidence, besides them gathering in a group, they had that this was a "Known Group of Insurgents". Killing every person that gathers in a group is not right, not should it ever be. Imagine you were in their shoes, the rest of the world decides to invade the US because they didnt agree with the thoughts and ideals of our government, or felt that we were picking on the middle east. Then the rest of the world comes in with their tanks, helocopters and armies, and kills any group of people that gathers with more than 5 people. How would you feel about this? How scared would you be just living your life? This is what is happening over there, regardless of how you look at it. Sure yes there are "terrorists" plotting against the US, But there are just as many people doing the same on our shores. And if the other countries that were "helping" us, accidentally kill innocent people, and consider it collateral damage, how would you feel about this?
Just a little food for thought. I dont want to turn this into a huge political thread again, but sometimes you really need to think about how the other side feels. We have killed so so many innocent people, we will kill more, but are we that decensitized (sp?) about war and violence that the endless killing of Iraqi citizens mean nothing?

The difference is we are not targeting innocent civilians on purpose unlike who we are fighting.
Plus the fact that the people we are fighting are dressed as civilians and hiding behind civilians in schools and hospitals doesn't help.
It is sad to see this happen but if you listen to the audio transmissions it sounded as the helis were there to clear the way for the armored calvalrey. If it was me up there and I thought I saw enemeys preparing an ambush I would rather kill them then take a chance with my fellow soldiers lives.
Very sad situation but as said before war is not pretty
