So I was browsing the web like normal and all of a sudden I get this "Antispyware XP" thing that pops up. I'm pretty sure I never had any software like that on my computer before. I believe it its malicious software. Anyone know what I should do, or how I could go about getting rid of it? haha, can I just pay someone to make it go away! *Cries*
Thanks!

if your running windows you can restore to a previous date, just go to start, accessories, system restore, and your computer should have a restore date in there just click restore to previous date

Too much pr0n.
You can do a system restore or you could download the free version of AVG, run a thorough scan and try to clean it up that way too.

Here you go.

I've used AVG on all my computers running Windows and have never had a problem with viruses.

I did the system restore. It seems to have worked!
Thanks for the simple solution, I will update if it comes back!

I've got rid of those stupid malwares. Generally they will block ports for some of internet sites and will not allow you to open task manager or run anytype of spyware scanner. What has work for me is googling what type of "fake security" it is and then deleting any regisrty it created in safe mode. It's a pain but has worked everytime.
