Ive been looking at dropzone lowering springs, and was wondering if anyone knew if they were good or what. but also wondering if anyone knows around how much it would cost to have a shop install them, just a average price. please let me know what you think about the springs and prices
thanks

Dropzone springs are pretty crappy. You will be much better off saving an additional $50-100 and getting something decent. For cheap, yet good, springs, look towards Progress or Sprint. Are you lowering the car for handing? Looks? Combination of both? For an install, figure a few hours of shop labor. It really isn't too tough, you'll just need to rent a spring compressor (Autozone free, Checker a few $$$). Be sure to get some new aftermarket shocks as well, lowering the car on stock shocks is a bad idea.

I have spring compressors you can use.
Yeah, i'm getting a good spring compressor, the one with hidraulic jack to compress... :)
I wouldn't go with those springs, about the only one's i'm going to go with is the 1.3" drop Eibach Pro or Sportline but that is too big of a drop 2.1" and i don't want that much.

Enes, Progress springs for 2G FWD are awsome...very nice handling and an agressive drop.
I don't want too slamed of a look.. 1.3" drop will be plenty for me i think.. the front end is low as it is..11

I had the intrax 1.75 springs on my 95 gsx and they worked great. handled awsom and still rode good for comuting. Also they are easy to install. I only spent about 2 hr max front and rear.

You don't need spring compressors for a dsm. Just take them out and put the new springs and stops in and bolt it all together. It is easy if you have just basic tools.
