I think he missed his girl friend in there and had to go back crawling on his hands and knees. Not far off from what happens in there anyway, so the girl friend didn't notice the crawling part.

i think it is bull shit how you can stand by these assholes that are racist pigs that make up laws just to meet their quota. i am very biased towards hating police because i have seen it NUMEROUS times where cops will abuse their power and not care what is going on. they are here to serve the public, not to make a big commision check. they made up the fact that my muffler was hitting the ground just to have a reason to pull me over. there is not one scratch on my muffler. I have my opinion from personal experiance and if you dont like it, well thats your opinion. there are a lot of things that are DEAD WRONG in this society and the police are one of them. you dont believe me that the police are racist and are on power trips, go to hennipen county correctional and count the white guys vs the black and other minorities. Its wrong how police feel that every black man is a crack head or drug dealer. its a shame that in these days americans are fighting against DECENT americans. I knew a guy that went to police academy and when he got done he served on the force for 2 years and left because he said the minneapolis police believe its "us vs them" not serving the public.
You have your opinion and I have mine.

The "us vs them" and racial profiling are unfortuntely true with the Minneapolis PD. Well, atleast the one that I road along with for a school project (friend of the family). She didn't bug one white person the whole time I was with, and only followed Latin-American people. She has been with "the force" for 15 years now. She may be biased because her first 10 were with the gang unit. Either way, I think most cops are good. I'm glad that AV cops pull people over for no reason. That only means that they have nothing else to do. The whole shooting the kid in the back thing that happened a couple years ago is BS though. I knew that kid, and to this day he is one of the top 3 smartest people I've ever met. He tought my psychology class a couple of times.
I think cops need to focus more on drunk drivers and theft more than anything else.

I heard first hand from the cops mouth that he saw sparks flying out from under your car...I am not saying it was a good reason to pull you over at all, just verify that it was the reason. It sucks that it happened once more to you, but the time has come to take responsibility for yourself...with a warrant being a pretty big responsibility. BTW, tell your girlfriend to hide the 2-way radio next time, that was the cops big tip-off that you were going racing. As for being racist...I won't even go there, but think about if for a few minutes people.

Oh dude, by no means am I saying that all cops are racist. But I woul dbe lying if I said none were.
I have no problems with any cops except the ones at uni. They all seem on power trips. I was with a few friends last week and a cop came up to us and checked us over. No reason at all. We were just sitting in a parking lot alone (no racing or racers). Just one damn car in the lot (us). James (ghettostyle) recieved 7 tickets in the last 1.5 months of the uni season (last year). He went to court and got out of 6 of them as he did nothing wrong for them. They are just assuming people will pay them. I guess it didn't help that he was in a ricer integra (probly thought he was a minority). I hate the cops who try to push you around. There are several times where cops have told me to move and get on my way. I was doing nothing wrong. One time I didn't leave as the reason he gave was a lie. He gave us disobeying a lawful order tickets and made us go to court and get out of them. That is what I hate about SOME cops. Those people who hate cops, what would you do without them?

do you know the guy that was one of the police officers. because if there had been sparks coming from under my car, tony would have said something to me immediatly and i would have corrected the problem by raising the rear up some more. if you did talk to the cop he was lying to you, tony was driving behind me the entire time we went cruising and would have told me. as for the warrent i honestly didnt know there was one for me. i didnt realise i had even missed the court date.
The cops on Uni have to be the worst. Look at all the shit going down. Guns, street racing, and overall just lack of concern for that area of St Paul. People live there. Children play and walk in those areas.
They have the whole city on their ass thanks to the "street racing community". Nuff said. So it doens't make stuff right, but if people want to make a differance get into politics. After a week you might get why it's all bullshit.
Sorry to hear you had to spend the night in jail, but you bring this on yourself. It was not the cops job to keep track of your court date. The cop probably indeed lied about his cause to pull you over, but think about where you were. You were at or on your way to a street race, last time I checked that is illegal. If you insist on being at street races you need to learn to deal with the fact you will be pulled over and yes they will manufacture a bullshit reason for the stop. I am not saying that it is right, but look at what they put up with.
As far as your 2 boyfriends in the cell go, it still only is one side of the story. Who is to say they did not try to punch or run from the cops(you wouldn't know the diffrence). With the MPLS police under constant fire from community leaders like Spike Moss, how are we to decide who or what to believe these days? As far as I am concerned the community leaders have made MPLS police into the biggots they are.
Police has no idea if you are going to pull a gun on them, run them over, or harm them. They all have experienced that i'm sure more than once.
I've been pulled over many many times, i've never been miss treated by them so i can't give the bad side of the story here. I've always treated them with respect, and have gotten nothing less than that from them. Be nice and listen to what they are saying, do not be a smart ass and mouth off to them, that just gives them a reason and ticks them off to pull out the ticket book and start writing every little thing.
I've gotten away with a lot of shit, tinted windows many times, front plates even more, cover over the rear plates, speeding even 10 or 20 over the limit and i've gotten out of it. How? i don't know but one thing i sure as hell know is i was honest with the police officer and given them the respect they well deserve given their job duties and responsibilities.
There are so many bad people in the world and they do not know if you are one of them or not, so give them a chance and show them you are not one of the bad people by respecting them more and in turn they will respect you back and they will beleive you are one of the good guys out there.
