There are all different kinds of cf hoods. Is it ALL true carbon fiber or is it just the outer layer?

yes its probably real carbon fiber but the outer gel coat is the quality and how good it was made. my buddy had a cf hood on his 3000 and it faded and looked like shit after two years and got a different one and stll looks awsum after 3 years.
