last night at 1 or so i get pulled over for a 36 in a 25. I think the cop gave me all the copys to the violation because i got two white copies a yellow and a pink. If he didnt keep a copy that means he cant file it right? How do i go about finding out if he kept a copy?

There should be a automated telephone line listed on the ticket you can call to see if your violation has gone into the system yet. It generally takes 1-2 weeks to get in there so don't get too excited until its been at least 3 weeks.

they usually have computers but i was in jefferson SD, so its pretty ghetto. i have a court record, summons, officer record, and defendent record. I called the cop shop were i got the violation and they said they have a pink and white tickit but im pretty sure i have all the copies?

I call their bluff. They're just playing you. That's a tough one. No need to get arrested over it, but on the other hand, if it was the troopers error..... haha

take it to court and have the officer prove he has a copy, No Copy, no fine. You just happened to show up at court at the exact time of your court appearance. LOL
