This seems like the place to introduce myself.

I am David, I am from Stillwater, and I live with my parents. I am a college student and ought to be getting my degree soon.

I've got a 94 eclipse with a very broken 4g37. Other than the fact that it hasn't moved from it's spot in the driveway in exactly a year, I am quite fond of it. It was a great daily driver, even if it was a little slow.

I would like to build a reasonably fast 1g, the only thing I have the money for right now is a replacement 1.8 for my current car. Sometime soon I'll be able to afford a nice project car (after I get my degree and get a job).

Seems like I found the right place from reading a few of the project threads.

Welcome to the site! post pics of your car. What are your goals for a reasonably fast 1g?

Welcome!!

I need parts off of that 1.8L if you decide you don't want it anymore

The N/T do make great daily drivers. I am finding out though that I should have went with a Mirage colt hatch a while ago. Fun little cars if you are ever thinking of switching.

I don't think my current car is the one to build. The body isn't good enough, but it would make a decent parts car. And I don't think that the 2.0 will just jump in there without modifications?
