It all depends.

How much power are you trying to make and what kind of gas are you planning on running?

Andy Nash put 40psi through his stock bottom end at Elite back in the day for a couple pulls, but it saw 30psi on a regular basis I'm pretty sure. His 1g ended up with a rod through the block.

Boost is not relevant, it is your power output that you need to be concerned about. Regardless, you will be fine on the stock bottom end with a safe tune.

X2.
Pump gas doesn't usually equal very high boost on a dsm motor. I'd be more focused on what kind of power goals you have than how much boost you want to run.

Last summer on e85 I ran around 32-34psi daily through my stock 6 bolt and had boost spikes of 38 at the end of the year on the dyno. Also probably have around 30 pulls at 30ish psi plus a 75, but that was with an amazing tune from Shane @ DB.

Either way I would take it over to Shane @ DB so you can get the most out of it as safely as you can.

It could blow up at 5psi or 50psi. The boost isn't what matters the most. It will come down to power, tuning (timing and a/fs), and mechanical state of the motor. On pump gas though, you might not be able to run a crazy amount of boost. A DSM at 20psi on pump gas will usually also make way more at 20psi on E85 or race gas, just because of how conservative you need to go on the tune with pump gas.

Stock cams and stock intake manifold?

Maybe 280-350whp FWD on a Dynojet. Just make sure they have all the hardware/software to properly datalog your car for knock.
