Doing the non-turbo 6g72 would be fairly cheap I would think. I would love to do this to my 90 Laser shell. Having a nt v6 5 speed would be pretty reliable and still fun.

probably sound better too...maybe. I like the idea of the non-turbo 6g72 in a na 1g. It'd be fun to do but i wonder how the engine harness looks like.

Look at a 1g 3/s probably. Swap the ecu and wiring harness from any 1g n/a 3/s 5 speed and you should be ok...


I'm just speculating though, so don't take my word for it.

Yeah, more weight for the front. It's not we don't already have a pushing problem now in the turns!!

Think the gsx tranny would bolt up to the vr4 motor? OR a COMPLETE swap?

it is not a 3s tt motor (6G72TT) in the car it is a galant v6 tt engine swap (6A13TT) and it is for sale for 5k

the dsm is a narrow block and the 3s and galant vr4 v6 are wide blocks
