recently when i've been driving my car i've noticed i have really low oil pressure. it starts out where it normally should and then as the engine warms up it pretty much drops to nothing. when the cars not in gear and is idleing the oil pressure reads almost zero, and when i start goin up gears it slowly rises but not much. in fith it reads a little bit under the line where it is supposed to stay steady at, but it wont get up to where it regularly is.
could this be my head gasket being blow? or what?

You haven't checked your fluids? I wouldn't drive the car if its getting low oil pressure...

Don't drive it until you get this figured out!!!
What do you see when you pull the dip stick? Is there oil there? What color is the oil?

if the oil looks milky you have issues

1st thing is make sure it has enough oil in it, then make sure it still looks like oil. Low oil pressure usually isn't caused by a blown head gasket, ususally means your bearings are loose, oil pump is worn out, oil pickup is partially blocked, or your oil pan is caved in, or any combination of these.

Change the oil and see what happens, can't hurt since you need to change it anyway. If the pressure stays low, put a manual gauge on it to see if the oil pressure is really low, or if your gauge is wrong.

so how can i tell if the bearing are loose, oil pump is goin out, or the oil pickup is patially blocked?
