Are your flywheel and pressure plate ok?

The flywheel shows a little damage, its just an oem one. And the pressure plate looks damaged a little. the wedge collar came out pretty nice. I just hope I can get a complete new kit. I dont want to mess with any of the used shit and have something else happen. I think I have a spare oem flywheel that I can get resurfaced if need be but I would like to get an aftermarket one now since its all apart and I dont plan on taking my transmission off again for a very long time.

Good call. Sucks you can't reuse your current flywheel and PP, but best to get things as perfect as possible for the new install.

That really sucks, I had great luck with my comp clutch and beat the crap out of it more than you did.

Hopefully they will replace everything or hope you can get it back on the road quickly!

Goddamn when you sent me this pic last night I was kinda in shock! I can't believe it broke like that.

Hmm I got a comp stage 4 in my car too, its survived at least a dozen launches so far... must have just gotten a bad batch of springs?

Ya I dont know what the hell happened. I know other people have had no problems with this clutch. I hope comp just covers this one and makes me think positive of there company. If they don't warranty this, I will never purchase another thing from them ever again.

Wow, I loved the comp stage 4 that I put in the DSM, and will probably be getting one soon to throw in the 240. Sucks that this happened to you.
