This has NOTHING to do with my car. Can you lose power if you spun a rod bearing.

I heard you gain HP when you spin bearings.

The reason I as asking was that a buddy of mine spun a rod bearing in his 98 honda civic and he was saying that it slow as hell now. He has a new motor for it so he is just having fun with it.

should tell him that his VTEC bearing may be wearing out also. lol. jk. it should be obvious for the powerloss. My friend had a Sentra Spec-V and as soon as we heard the sound, it lost alot of power...and than it bogged it's way home. Nothing like towing a spec-v in the middle of the night for 6 miles :P

When craig still had his talon he made 433 with a spun rod bearing. Then it totaly let go on the cruise to la cross last time.

Spinning rod bearings = less rotational friction = mad powaz gain

Less friction hmmm, thats why everything turns blue when you spin bearings...
