it just takes me longer with out the air tools so
my bro has air tools and everything else. but he is 140 mi away

I probably wouldn't trust you either, to be honest. But I'm not going to fault you for trying to make some side money. I do side jobs for friends occasionally.

The guy does have a point about taking away business from shops, but this is the U.S. and people are free to do what they please.
However, you charging $25/hr really makes me rethink my $35/hr for side work I charge considering the drastic difference in abilities (and tooling), maybe I should raise it, lol... Actually no because most of the time I barter labor with friends/family, haha.
I can't believe how many people are advertising that they will work on cars on craigslist, it is insane!
Good luck on your future projects, fyi, there is to be no advertising or even pming on this forum for work. The shops on this forum pay to be here and that entitles them to all labor work and business obviously.
I believe that is understood by most, but since you are a bit newer I figured I would give you a friendly reminder.

It ticked me off to no end when we sponsered here, so I would imagine it bothers the other vendors as well.
