Description:
Up for sale today is what appears to be a low-mileage 6 bolt block (stock) from the 1G-A we are parting out. The crank turns freely, and the cross hatching is consistent. It has been rebuilt or refreshed at some point, as the block has been recoated at some point. Approximate mileage is unknown at this point.

SOLD

Also have a 1991 5-speed manual 1G-A transmission, never tested, as we received the car only partially assembled.

Asking 250.00.

Aren't the arrows on the pistons supposed to be pointing to the front of the engine? (timing belt side) I could be wrong.

I would assume the bigger valve relief's in the pistons belong on the intake side, like in this case...

It is facing towards the timing belt. Refer to the picture. We never managed to pull compression numbers, as there was no actual way to crank the car. The electrical harness is a hackjob on the car.
