LOL, I snapped off a 3 bolt axle at the track in a full exhaust 14b 1g WAYYY back when...
Of course I was cutting like 1.70x 60' on 225 series street tires and running 13.4@98mph with a dead cylinder in that car (old red car of doom that I had, then nash, then john).

How did you guys do that many launches with out breaking one is beyond me.

I've got no idea why mine went through that abuse. When I pulled out the axle's they were still mint. I was almost tempted to put them back in until it broke... now, I've got a bullet proof rear end as of now besides the 4bolt stock axles. We will see how long those last. I'm guessing first time at the track on higher boost with my new setup.
