If the rod going to the pedal assembly is greasy, then chances are high that your master is leaking, which is causing your clutch issues.

yeah ive been noticing that the car shifts better when its cold, but lets say ive been driving it for 30 mins the car will not go into gear at a dead stop. and then once it does go in the car wil pull itself with the clutch pedal to the floor

Yup, replace your master. Don't even bother adjusting this one, you'll just be wasting your time.

Yup. Replace your master cylinder, and at the same time might as well do the slave cylinder and put in a stainless steel clutch line to replace the soft rubber section. You'll thank us later. :)
Just make sure you bleed the system right.
