Holy crap, was the crank pulley off a full tooth or what? That seems crazy dude. Didn't you say you did a leakdown test? I don't think I remember you actually posting up the numbers and results.

I did the number were 158-158-160-160

That is compression. What about leak down?

Are you looking at the right marks? The car wouldn't run with it 4 teeth off and the valves would be bent.

I look at it again and it off by 3

Sorry that was the compression.

Right, what about leak down numbers?

Are you SURE the crank pully mark is exactly at TDC? Which direction are the cam marks off?

What about leakdown? I say give shane a day or three to troubleshoot it man, he is *extremely* good at getting to the root of problems like this. Then you'll know what the problem is, can get time to get it fixed, and be ready to have some fun this spring/summer :D

I pulled the timing cover off to see the mark on the crankshaft sensing blade was on the timing mark on the oil case. When I put it on TDC the cam gear were advanced buy 3 teeth.

Any chance you got a good camera with a macro lense, take a few pics just to verify? Might help just so there's no question.

I am NOT blaming shane I would never do that. I am just saying that's what I found.

Sorry, i didint mean to sound like i was jumpin all over ya. Just sounded to me like you were saying "Well shane was the last one to touch it...."

When shane from db put my cam gear on the right way it must have not been on TDC because the timing is off 4 degree ( 4 teeth) on both cams

Is there good tension on the belt itself? or is it loose?
If you could line up the crank pulley with the tdc mark and take a pic of the cam gears that would be much more helpful.
