View Full Version : Turbo oil feed restrictor fitting

I heard that you need to have one if you have a ball bearing turbo is this true and what will happen if you are not running one.

If you don't run one your turbo is going to see oil pressures higher than what they are recommended to run at and eventually the seals will blow out in the center section.

it also depends on where you are getting your feed from

or it matters on 1g/2g anyway. Best place is to get feed from for BB is the cylinder head. I don't know how Evo's work...

I don't know about that... Check with your turbo manufacturer and see what size restrictor is needed for your turbo. MY GT35R oil line is coming off the oil filter housing and has a FP restrictor.

These are some they sell for the EVO. Probably the same as the dsm ones.
