hey guys i plan on building my engine up and was wondering if this is a ok deal on eBay

its a manley rod and wiseco piston hd kit. im looking to support about 500hp safely i was thinking about cheeping out but every time i do that it doubles what i have spent and takes my time so i ruled out the 2g piston 1g rods

i found a machine shop that can do my block for about $150 i have had work done by them before $25 a cyl plans are im going .20 over. if i could find a 4g64 crank id do the 2.3. i also was paying attention to piston to wall clearance they where saying like a .40-45. seems sloppy but i guess when it warms up it stops slapping around but anyways

what else i plan on getting is Brian crower 272s and new springs retainers. going to leave the head stock might do mild home porting on exhaust side
1600cc injectors afpr i already have a lph255 in the tank, dsmlink but basically im doing the supporting modifications to get where i want to be
get it all together bring it down to db !!

i did get a free turbonetics turbo t3/t4 s60 trim journal bearing its blown needs rebuild don't know where to get that done ? {any ideas }
not sure if im going to run that i have a fp evo 3 thats ported with the evo3 o2 they say there good to about 400hp after watching you tube and street fire i have an idea what im looking for .. i don't believe that the e16g is pulling 10s

Nice organization. I don't see an ebay link though.

Those are nice components. 500hp at all 4 wheels? What dyno? You could get away with some Eagle rods and some other less costly pistons and achieve that goal. But if you don't want to, those should easily hold what you are going for.

I made 541 at DB and 628 at MAP, and I'm on Eagle rods and Mahle pistons (just for reference). I'm happy with the combo.

another thing .

something happened after i tried tuning i ran in to some bad knock ? was running 93bp with 1gal 110 blended in

im sketchy on the oiling system in my block. it knocks slightly when i first start it and some times and goes away i can hear it when i rev too but i dont drive it since ive heard those noises trying not to damage the crank i get about 50-75 at cold start up then drops to 20-15 warm and stays there when i rev to 3000 its maxed out at 50psi im thinking when i did the balance shaft delete i did something wrong ? .. i think grease monkey said it had like 150k on it .. but who knows who beat on it before me or him got it ..

i think its just time for a rebuild .. when is a good time or necessary to upgrade your transmission internals ? I had it apart and looked at it looks new still @ what power levels are you guys running with out a shep trans i could get one but really trying to just get a baseline first i just dont want to break on a dyno or doing a hwy pull

Not a bad deal, but we can certainly beat that price for you ;) Also, as Brandon mentioned you could go with Eagle rods with would be more than enough to meet your goals and save you some money at the same time. Please PM me if you would like a quote, we generally have all of these items in stock in Plymouth :)

+1 for getting the parts from a local vendor. Support the local community!

MAP built my motor too, and couldn't be happier with it.
