how did you switch 1g awd tranny to work on this?

Have to make new front and rear rollstop mounts. Rework the roll stop brace. And have to use a 90 awd tranny with a weleded center diff.

would everything work the same if i used a 2g auto tranny?

No one has ever done a full auto swap. Every one goes to 5speed. But it should work just fine. You would need to use the 2g auto engine harness then and ecu and tcu too get it all to work right

anyone have a 2g tranny? if not i'll go auto.. if i went auto, what part of your evo harness would i need?

With the auto you would need to wire the full car with the dsm harness and make it all work right. I would just get a 5 speed tranny 2g fwd or 1g fwd. I can make the mounts for the 1g tranny in a few hours
