Janet Napolitano is an idiot!! He gets explosives on a plane and actually tries detonating them, and she claims the system worked.

The system would only have worked if he never got on the plane with them!!

What's worse, the guy's father turns him into the embassy for wanting to do something like this, yet he never gets watched or put on the "no fly" list!!

she also says " he was stopped before any damage could be done" well that isnt true, he could have, he just messed it up. this lady is completely retarded

Everything is really tight down here at work now. They took the extra A330 to DTW last night since the other one can not fly right now. Also today it happened for a 2nd time. Same flight from AMS to DTW the guy locked him self in the bathroom for over a hour. They got to DTW the FBI rushed the plane on the tarmac searched the full plane and all cargo. They did not find anything. It end up to be the guy was mentealy ill.

Now there are new rule on the planes
Can not leave your seat the last 1hr of flight
Can not go into the overhead bag storage
No bags under the seats.
Nothing in your lap.
Getting patted down before you get onto the jetway to get on the plane. All overseas flights
A lot more is now band from bring it on to the plane.

System failed. The united kindgom also got word, that this guy was a danger to fly. They rejected him a student visa cause he used a bogus school on his app, and they put him on the no fly list. When there is an actual verbal warning, you would think that's reason enough to throw up the red flag.
