Hey Guys, So i was bored waiting for an email and googled Galant VR4 1000/1000. It came up with a post in a High Def Forum of some guy named Jackhammer claiming he was driving a 1992 Galant VR4 number 1/1000. http://www.highdefforum.com/car-forum/39199-what-you-driving-11.html (last post on page) Hes from MN. Anyone know this guy? Any Notible Numbers you guys know of, like 666/1000 (that would be cool).

I dunno, It would be interesting to see what kind of condition it is in. if hes using it as a collectors peice with under 10,000 miles on it or if its modded to hell and has over 100,000 miles. I know with something like that i would probebly just keep it stock and as a collector (of dust).

I autox'd down in Iowa with the guy who at least to own 1000/1000. Dunno if he moved or sold the car. He at one point had it listed for $6k.

interesting. I'm sure he meant he has "one" of the 1000 that were made. Which are the 92 GVR4 models only. 808 is what I have. Though, I'd like to have #2.

Whenever i have seen GVR4 guys talk about numbers they dont say its one in a million or 1 in a thousand. Its usually "I have number 200, or 808, etc." So when he says he has 1/1000 i get the idea he has/had number 1 of 1000 made. GVR4 guys are funny like that. When they talk to each other its usually a conversation that goes something like this:
"Hey dude nice car... What number are you?"
"duuuude, im number 540, what number are you?"
"WHAZZZZZUP im number 293 yo! werd"

My guess is the first few off the production line were used for crash testing and have since been recycled into creamed corn cans.
