Hey Guys,
Ive been looking for some snow jackets, gloves and bibs for my fiance for snowmobiling. I was wondering if there were any preferences for snow stuff with regards to brand, price, and online retailer?
Thanks
Tom

REI outlet has some sick deals occasionally. That's where I get a lot of my winter and outdoor gear.

I still rock the old columbia pants and a down jacket but there is a lot of good stuff out there.
I work at the powersports shop in hopkins that everyone loves to hate and we got a ton of Castle X stuff on clearance right now. Its actually made for snowmobiling. I'm sure you could get it online for cheaper but its a option.
From what I have seen, the manufacturer stuff is pretty good too. Polaris, Yamaha, ect. IDK who they use to make their gear but its usually really good quality.

Yea REI, Sports authority or Dicks Sporting goods are where I usually go.
I would buy all Yamaha stuff for snowmobiling, but I want to use my snow stuff for skiing and boarding so thats no good. I dont want to look like a tool haha.

If you're looking for cheap but effective you could look at Fleet Farm as well.

I like Midwest Mountaineering over by the U. Or if you want better deals go upstairs to Thrifty Outfitters. They probably wont have anything that is snowmobiling specific but I got my snowboarding jacket there, and I cant imagine there is a that big of a difference in snowboarding gear and snowmobiling gear.

REI on clearance or while sales are running, are not bad at all. Thats where I got my columbia jacket for skiing boarding and what I use on sled. A quality brand will keep you warmer and drier. Cheap = cold and wet.
Try the-house.com too.

I've purchased several things for 70-80% off there, it's awesome. And it's really high quality stuff for the most part, makes a difference over the cheap stuff.
