1g starter wiring

so i am in the part of putting my motor in the car and tucking wires. i am wondering where the power wire goes on the starter, the power closest to the motor or away? pics help too

The one with the right angle connector which should have a red rubber boot goes on the open stud on the Solenoid (The positive +), the other one goes through one of the bolts used to bolt in the Starter(The ground -). You should be able to trace back the positive wire right back to the battery post.
