Lets start with the basics. Im tim and i have a soft spot for euro cars(hence eurotrash) BUT, i recently picked up a 92 Plymouth laser RS AWD that is getting a stage 1 block from modern and whole bunch of other new parts. so far I like this car a lot, i just cant wait to finally drive it. I should have it running by next weekend. Anyways, this forum seems like a good place so i figured i would join up now that i finally have a DSM!

What made you decide to step foot into this darkside of jap awd turbo 4 bangers?


After i got a ride in my buddys 1G GSX ive always wanted a dsm, I like the amount of power you can get out of these for the money. They are cheap to build compared to all the VW's ive had. Plans for the car: Stage 1 modern block, New rebuilt head with crower valve springs, 5 angle valve job, I will be running a small 16g turbo until it blows up. Fidanza 3.2 clutch kit. Pretty much everything will be new except the water pump, which is farely new.

long term goals for this car: Get a new dash(mine is cracked) Full paintjob, shaved bay. I want this painted Satin Silver. For now i just want to get it running well
