I was barely able to squeeze my winter tires/wheels into the back of my 1g with the back seat folded down. Those were inflated 235/45's though, so they took up more room than if they were unmounted. When I got my summer tires I managed to squeeze 4 unmounted 235/45 17's unmounted, and two 225/50's that were mounted.

I should say, four 255/40/17 tires and four 17x9 wheels were a snug fit. 235/45/17 and 17x8 wheels weren't so bad.

I have had 4rims with tires and 4 new tires in the evo
Put a full long block in the trunk of the evo and drove it down to la cross
Had 5 people in the spyder the day I bought it back in 98
Put the 6 point roll cage in the evo and drove to chris's place to install it

I had 7 people in my 2g, which is a lot less roomy than an Evo.
Not recommended, LOL. My rear suspension is f****d up due to being the mister nice guy.
