Ok so im considering buying a Galant GSX from my friend and swaping in an extra 6 bolt i have laying around, but im not sure what factors have to be considered for this process. The guy he got it from may have said that it had a turbo engine in it already, but im not sure since he's had it sitting for 2+ years.

If someone could help me figure out what needs to be done and if its a worthwhile investment i would appreciate it. I can buy the shell with tranny and transfer case as well as Gasket kit and Timing kit for $450, but would have to buy a head and turbo for my block.

The body is in great condition, i dont think it has any rust and it comes with some 16" American Racing rims. Theres a bit of rust on the underbody, but nothing to drastic.

I have tons of stock parts from my 1g talon including an ecu, short block, 550's, (tons of stock parts) but am unsure what parts will swap.

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

THANKS.

you need a turbo engine harness, ecu for the motor. and the galant gsx uses diffrent gear ratio's in the tranny and rear end than the dsm's do

Well if it had a turbo engine in it before, would it already have the turbo tranny and rear end?

Is there a way i can tell if the tranny, rear end, and harness are all from a turbo car?

Whats the name of the galant forum, im not familiar with it.
