by no way is this the right way but it looks a lot better than it did.

laugh if u want its the best walmart rattle can paint job ive ever done

still needs clear coat and and wet sand

just cause its rattle cans dosent mean its not the right way, 90% of painting is in the prep work and the sanding. looks pretty good all things considered, should have givin it some more time to dry before you did the stripe though.
