$400 wouldn't be bad at all! If i didnt have to spend another $400 finishing the car!

You both should just drop this and leave it alone. I bought a $20,000 dollar Evo and had to put money into it right away! And I was told it was perfect! I bought the damn car from a kid on this forum. I never said a word about it tho. Shit goes wrong! I do feel bad for you Alpha D really I do! It happened to me too, but I just let it go and moved on. I'd be willing to help you anytime with your car. I dont know that much about them, but im all up for learning!

well shit if everyone gets to put their 2cents in i guess i might too.

Chim: i hear ya on this deal. I get paranoid anytime i go out to work on someones car or sell parts. Many times i turn into the go to guy about how to fix anything or why things break. It makes it to easy to point the finger at me if anything goes wrong even though im just trying to help people out. Knowing that dsms can be frustrating and that owners can get frustrated over things you shouldnt have left your rims with him. this crap can happen and he can be stubborn. to make it easy yo umight want to call it a loss an let them go. meeting face to face will probably be the same here where you each hold your views and dont want to change.

Alpha: not all cars are the same. DSMs and especially 1gs are mechanic specials. They hold boost great but they break left and right. I agree with everyone your in over your head. You need to stop blaming others. the car is now yours and you need to accept that and do what you can with it. there is forums and write ups on how to fix anything, but you got to get your hands dirty and do the woork yourself. i would be living in a cardboard box if i didnt do my own work. You need to move past the transaction. with the wheels this is up to you. to be the bigger man i would return them. it shows you know the right thing to do, that usually repays itself in life. it just seems childish to hold them cause your mad. the help is here but you got to move past the transaction.

I bought my last dsm pretty cheap, but $400 isn't shit. These cars are OLD does that not register with some people?
Alpha:you bought a car, without driving it, and not knowing enough coming into it. Stephen (no offense), is by no means a dsm expert, and from my experience, doesn't act that way. It's vehicle maintenence, and you are in no way entitled money back for the maintenence done, because you now own the car, and are financially responsible for repairs. If it was a car that you drove home, had for a day after a test drive, was told it was in great working order, then these problems happen, then I'd be upset. But that's not the case, you bought a none driving dsm, tough luck.

Chim:at least youre working things out.

Heres where the problem lies

Person who isnt smart enough to inspect the car, drive the car, or wait till the car is running to test drive the car, and is lacking the knowledge to fix a car, purchases a car from someone who is eager to sell the car.

Its in the best interest and responsibility of the seller to get the most money out of what hes selling, and its in the best interest and responsibility of the buyer to get the most out of his money, of what hes buying.

Alpha, you did not make a responsible purchase. Quit bieng a baby and move on, use your energy to fix your car instead of sobbing over the irresponsible purchase you made and you will come out far ahead.

If I could find a clothes line big enough I would tie your tails together and throw you two over it. '

This thread should be deleted as it is a disgrace to this forum.

For future reference to all DSMers here.
NEVER PUT IN WRITING YOU GUARANTEE A DSM TO BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. Guarantee and DSM do not belong in the same sentence or even paper.
