Just to give an update on the season ending situation.

We have decided to not make up the final 2 rallycrosses. We were having problems finding a venue that would hold up considering how much precipitation we've had leading up to now. And we wouldn't have enough time to get a new site ready in time before the close of the season (November 30th).

What this is going to do to the year end championship:

Instead of having to run 4 events to qualify for an award, you only had to run 3 events.

Instead of scoring the best 6 of 8 events, you will be scored on the best 4 of 6 events.

What we have in store for next season:

We are working on putting together another rallycross school in December. Stay tuned for more details soon on that.

We are looking at more venues to give a better variety of surfaces and locations, some around the metro area to keep travel down to a minimum.

We will need to put together a planning meeting again sometime around the awards banquet time. So if you have any questions, concerns, suggestions please bring them to the meeting or post them up for discussion. Also, if you want get a little more involved with the planning of the season and/or the individual events, you should come to this meeting as well. This meeting will be open to the general rallycross public as well as organizers. We will be putting together the next seasons schedule with events, venue AND eventmasters at this meeting as well. I'm not sure of an exact date just yet so stay tuned for that also.

We are still looking for someone that wants to take over as Rallycross Chairperson for the Land O Lakes Region as well. If you have any questions about it or are interested in the position, please get in contact with me ( awd1dr@yahoo.com ) or private message me on the forum. If we do not find someone to fill the position, I will remain in the position until someone does take it over.

Thank you very much for a fun season and let's look forward to next years season.
