I think you need to slow down a tad bit and rethink your strategy here.

You mentioned to me you put a trans together but left some things out that you didnt know what they were. Just that tells me you should slow down, do things the right way the first time, ecause if ya dont, the dsm will stab you right back!

yay now i get to replace rod bearings :frown: i gess oil pressure was not enough it now knocks at 2200-3000 rpm noticed it after doing 3 3rd gear pulls to 6500 for tuning .. and its real slight .. so my ? is can i just put the rod and main berrings in or do i have to pull the crank and have that turned or polished. man i am pissed it just started to make good power too ! got my LO lift down to 1 no knock was running real strong afr was at 10:5 to 11:0
at wot got the timing to 18-20 degrees boost was at 16psi on 93 oct

afr at idle was 12-14

i guess the best thing i could do is pull it apart and mic it ?

this is bull shit 3rd engine in 4 weeks ran for a week ...

That's a myth that's from many years ago.

not at all! no matter what you need at least 10psi per 1000rpm more doesn't hurt but too much can rob hp

My car when cold will easily go over 125 psi if I let it(I'm not an idiot). When warm, at idle I'm about 10-8psi of oil pressure. No balance shafts. I have a restrictor on my turbo feed line. Cruising 5th gear is about 50psi. WOT pull gets to maybe 80-90.
