i have a 1995 eagle talon with a six bolt swap. the engine is a 1992 and has aproximetly 137k on it. i bought it almost a year ago and when i bought it the kid didnt tell me that the tranny was on its death bed and it went out on me only three days later. so it wasnt driven for six months and sat in my garage while i searched for another trans. i finally found one and got it in about a month ago and am looking to sell it. along with the trans it has a few other things as well.

The Good:

Spectra Air filter and hard pipping
16G turbo with no shaft play
Powder coated valve cover (blue)
650cc injectors
Upgraded spark plug wires
New Throttle Positioning Sensor
New fuel pressure regulator
Full JDM exhaust
Fidenza Lightwheight flywheel
New dynapex clutch kit and it was broken in the right way
New Walbro 255 high pressure fuel pump
low mile transmission, about 73k on it

The Bad:

Speedometer does not work and hasnt worked since before i had the car, but it never bothered me so i didnt really look into it.
Odometer does not work.
Has some rust that has eaten through one side of the strut tower but could be fixed with a little welding.
Does not have a radio, but i have the harness hooked up so all you would need is the deck.
Has a few minor dings her and there but over all the car is in very nice condition.

ha! I looked at this car. I test drove it the night before you bought it. I told the kid that either the clutch was almost out, or the tranny was done. It was barely driveable, how did you not notice that??

Anyway, this seems like a pretty good deal! gluck with sale.

The odometer does not work because the speedo doesnt work. On the back of the trans there is a plug that will stick up, it goes through the rear tranny mount, make sure that is plugged into the electrical and that it is in the actual transmission. That is likely the cause.

ya i did get it from kyle, and i checked the plug on the tranny but the speedo didnt work with the first transmission either. I think its a wiring harness issue unfortunately.

Where's the electical route to?
