it's a no name, korea or other based POS that will do more then what the last 2 turbos you had did.

Ya coming from the owner of a ebay evo316g dont waste your money. It came on the car when I got it and I guess it did last a year with my abuse. However, I would save the money for a real MHI turbo. The ebay ones are pretty much throw away junk. They may work for a while but when they wear out or have a problem nobody will want to work on it so you throw it away.

FP still has the deal going for a real evo 3 and im sure that you could pick up a good used 20g for cheaper yet.

I kinda figured that would be the case. Believe it or not, can't find any 20g's or fiddys for sale..

Talking from experience, a turbo is the one part I would never ever buy used. You never know what you are getting. I have more $ into my used PTE turbo then a brand new one would of costed me. Look at all of the previous posts on here about people buying used turbos from other people and having them go out, smoke, leak, etc. Buy new!

^true.

I guess I would never buy a used turbo thats not a MHI. Im running a used MHI TDO5 on my ride with no problems but I also got it from someone I knOw and I know what the car did with it.

Its too easy to swap parts out on other brands of turbos that are not supposed to be there. Its a very simple device but if one thing is off, out of spec or not balanced its gonna make a mess.
