ok so as most of you know im new here. I purchased a 1995 Talon TSi AWD. I just recently picked up the shell and the motors (motors thanks to Synergy Autowerks) and as of now they are sitting at my house.
here are pics as everything stands now.

MINT STRUT TOWERS!! Car is from texas and was brought up here about 7 years ago.

but there is this problem

^^ there was a kid who tried to put a performance flywheel and clutch in, but forgot to torque them down, at all, and this was the outcome. So it was brought in to my good friends at synergy saying "there is a loud noise in the transmission I believe?" They took the tranny off and the flywheel and clutch just fell right out.

I have to take the crank out of this motor below.

both motors are 6 bolts. Im still looking for a transmission though. As of now im somewhat short on cash, but have a lot of parts sitting around, and a mostly complete block lying around as well.
As well as another thing, I do believe im in way over my head, or just second guessing myself. I know for a fact im going to need help. I've read up a lot on the whole 6 bolt swap but still kinda dont know all about it. Maybe im just scaring the hell out of myself or not, but I have good intentions. I know I will run into problems, that is a given, but I still have high hopes for this car. Even though the motor is out of the car and everything, I think im going to wait to build it all up. I would love to have it run first and be able to build it up later, as well with my bank account.

Im really excited for this and as work goes on pictures and many updates will be posted, and many question's and pm's to a lot of people on here.

fun project! is the transmission the only thing you need to get it back together and running?

Looks kind of like my car when I first got it, a project.

Just take your time, do your research, and have fun with it! Good luck dude and there are enough people here to help you out if you do have questions.

yeah the transmission and a clutch is the only thing holding me back right now...
so trying to figure out a trade or something. cause i have that block with all good interals in it and what not, as well as a bunch of other parts... like eprom ecu tuned without fuel cut and whatnot, wiring harness, intake manifold. etc.

and thanks. im sure ill be asking them soon enough. :)

so here we go. got the non-complete block up on the stand and started taking it all down to the bare block and the block looks really good. (maybe a build while the other motor runs?)
so now i really have a garage full of parts.... but thats it so far... as for tomorrow the complete will be up on the stand and we will drain all the fluids out of it (if any at all) and turn that one over and start tearing it down to get that crank out. also will soon be ordering some new goodies!

*pics coming tomorrow w/ update!!*
