the way i look at is, is i have well over double invested vs what i can get for it.
however if you need the cash or there is a threat to anything else like your credit or anything, sell the car, there are always other cars out there that can be used for a project down the line

Unfortunately if it comes down to it I'd sell. Being in a substantial amount of debt sucks, you can always buy a DSM from someone else who is losing their ass on it. Better to be ahead now instead of paying ton of interest and being behind for awhile.

if it makes you feel better, i have a toolbox from snapon that's 54 long, but only 19 inches deep. It's called organizing. I have many tools, some specialty tools, scanners, ohmmeters, etc. a clean, well organized box goes a LOOONG way in terms of space for more tools.

Selling it w/o it being in running form is not gonna get you crap for $$ out of it. Fix it, then consider selling it. Of course, once its running you'll never think about selling it :D
After I bought my evo, I read a book by Dave Ramsey (http://www.daveramsey.com) and it changed life. After almost 3 years I have paid off all of my CC's, lines of credit, student loans, the evo....everything except the wife's car and the house. Just the basics of getting smart with your money, absolutely the best $20 I ever spent.

trust me I'm ultra organized and I'm getting to the point where I have to much stuff to where it is getting hard to keep it organized.

I would keep it. You know what you got to work with, with that car. You never know what someone else has really done with a car until its too late (good or bad) and its yours. I have run into that myself (both the good and the bad) and its really a crapshoot.
If you are thinking you might want to get back into it after a while, don't loose your ass twice with it!!! Fast cars are moneypits, might as well only loose the money once.

No offense, but are you really gonna get that much money from selling the Talon to make a huge impact in all your debt? I'd say just keep it, let it be on the back burner if you have a 2nd car to drive. If you think you're gonna lose your ass, just look at anyone selling any HEAVILY modded DSM. You might as well sell yours, get your shit straight, and then rape someone selling their DSM they are getting raped on. LOL. My 2 cents.

If you wouldn't lose too much money on it I'd sell it, cars will come and go but it'd be nice to be a little less debt free. If you'd lose a ton of money I'd just keep it, throw a smaller turbo on there and daily drive it without beating on it too much.

I know i'm going to lose my ass. as for making a huge impact on my debt probably not a huge one but it will definitely take nice chunk out of it or buy me a new tool box. but then again if I sell I can always buy a nicer one someday

I'm going to lose a ton of money on it that's why i'm so torn on whether to sell or not. I could really use the extra money but is it really worth all the money i'm going to lose?? idk

I would keep it, if your going to loose alot of money on it, and end up getting another dsm later on anywase, granted you can always take someone elses constant project that now needs a shit ton of work that they can afford to do anymore. But thats always a gamble too. I'm kind of a hermit, I stick to what I know and if the funds run low, just park it for a while and take care of the bills till you can fix it again. nothing saves money like a broken dsm until you start buying parts for it. Soon as its running again, you can just watch your money dissapear.
