^to a point, yes. But, as of late, this summer has been nothing short of putting gas in my car and driving. I kinda like it. It's as reliable as YOU build it!

Oh, I agree with that. But we all know how some of these "you build it's" are put together....

How built was this motor and how much power was it making when it blew?

1994 eagle talon tsi awd turbo.

I just got my motor and tranny out. Motor blew up.. and I think everything else broke too lol.. Dont know if I want to spend the time or money on it.. but it was my DD so if it goes I am looking for something else for a DD..

car is rust free.

eprom with chip and tune from DB..

scm6152e

bc272 cams, springs, retainers. ARP head studs. (head has bent valves now in 1 cyl..)

had a 6bolt but isnt much left of it.

tre tranny with taller 5th gear that probably junk now..

big FMIC

1600cc inj. tuned on e85

I don't know man, if you have a clean rust free 1g that has made good power, I would keep it. If you don't want to break shit, don't run injectors that are more than 3 times the size of stock ones and run a 14b at 12 psi, not a 61.

If you're going to mod it or buy it modded, be prepared to wrench a lot more than if it was stock.

I dont mind fixing shit here and there.. like a head gasket or if my stock motor goes.. but when everything happens at the same time it sucks.. lol.. and I have been into cars for a long time and am well aware of the price to play.. lol but It is getting a lil old..

IT is not getting old, YOU are getting old. You are hitting that point in life where you don't care to fix shit. You want a nice, newer fast car, stock, factory warranty. I can see it now..

Can't blame him for that, I'm feeling the same thing.

Well, then something was screwed up once you put it together..things don't JUST break.

Same thing goes for your turbo problems? :)

I would be happy that you got a solid platform to work with.

Or buy a new honda accord/toyota camry v6 with a warranty and be happy that your in the 14's with a car that wont break. idk.
