you don't need it for rallycross... as it is never at night. And do you plan on doing stage rallies? If so, you will need a LOT more than a light bar....

It's a ricer mod. It's like putting a parachute on your car because you "think" you'll need it.

If you're planning to turn it into a full rally car with the gutted interior, the super long travel coilovers, the full cage, and the dirt tires, go ahead it. If it's going to be spending more time on the street than in the dirt, then I'll call you a ricer. haha

Hell, I'm tempted to delete my fogs...I'll never use those things.

Stop lying to yourself, you know that this:

I say do it, because I get to take pics of it!

That's a Subaru, they're ugly and need something to distract you from the ugliness. Evos already look good so I don't like those.
I agree it's a ricer/cosmetic mod except for crazy rally cars. But hey, I've done strictly appearance mods before, like smoked corners, tinted tails, projector headlamps, etc., they're all a little ricey. Just depends if you like the way they look in the end.

personally I think it's a little ricey. I prefer a clean stock look. but in the end it's your car and your opinion is the one that matters so if you like then do it

I did a couple appearance mods once: I moved my license plate and painted my grill black.

Didn't know that...
So with that being said, you might as well join the Subaru crowd as most of them are a bunch of wanna-be rally drivers that think they are good drivers, and quite a few of them have these light bars on cars that maybe rally a few times a year but leave them on year round to look cool.
I would say unless you are going to be doing night rallies where they would be functional then hell no.
