knock sensor question?

I picked up a 2g knock sensor from greasemonkey and he said it would work in my 1g but I just want to confirm I won't have any problems. So it will work right? Is the torque the same for 1g and 2g sensor's or do I need to torque it differently?

if you're running a 1g ecu you definitely need to be running a 1g knock sensor as well.
