What is the largest turbo housing that will fit using a stock style exhaust header and clear the block and still face the intake of the housing towards the pass/right side. At the track I see either modified/custom headers to put the turbo farther out towards the radiator or even I header spacer to get the turbo moved outwards.

There's about a million possibilities, the search function/google can do wonders.

The FP DSM88 turbo is huge and will clear everything fine. They usually offer 90* elbows welded on.

Everyone seems to love the e3s16g, but I recommend a 60-1 turbo from 1940.

my pte scm61 is a pretty big turbo and it fit just fine with minimal adjustments made to a little coolant line that runs behind the turbo

you can get a gt4202 to fit just fine, with no real bad modifications besides a new manifold (try running a stock flange on that thing, i'll laugh at you.)

You're more limited to the type of flange. You won't be able to get some huge turbo with a mitsu hot side on it. My garrett 3076 with an anti-surge compressor cover fits just fine. All I had to do was dent in the water pipe a little bit to make room for it.

The Garrett 3076 that is one I have been looking at or a Garrett converted with a TD05 housing. I want to purchase this turbo just once this time and want something that fits and can support 500 hp.

You should look into the FP 3052. It has the same exhaust wheel as the 3076, but it's in a larger housing so it will flow better (more top end). Also, it uses the GT35 compressor wheel so it will support more power. C3L1CA on here has one on his car, and on a stock bottom end he's making over 500. They're pretty sweet turbos if you're going for big power.

He runs a 3065. I think that is the turbo you are thinking of.
