I have been running Win 7 Pro for about three weeks now. Besides having two blue screen death. It works great.

64 or 32?

I had issues with RC1 64, but 32 has been great.

I downloaded/installed it as soon as the RTM version came out. Fresh 64bit install over a Vista64 install.

The first thing that I noticed after playing around with it is that my laptop idles about 10 degrees celcius cooler with Windows 7. The kernel is much more efficient.

Some of the features I don't know how I lived without. Shaking a window minimizes all other windows, dragging a window to the left/right of the screen will cause it to take up half the screen, which has many awesome uses, and bringing a window to the top auto maximizes it.

Mine has been pretty much dead stable, although every once in a while when I unplug my laptop, I get a hard lockup, which sucks, but it doesn't seem common. It's probably just a driver issue.

Oh, and if you have a .edu E-Mail, you can get 7 Home Premium for 30 dollars!

Yup just in the process of putting it on my home machines. Actually going out to get new TB hard drives with raid for my home machine before I stick it on there. haha

64-bit's been out just as long as 32-bit has...

I don't know when I'll make the jump on my desktop, but I need to get around to installing the final release on my laptop, which has a beta release on it currently.

I tried out the RC at work and really liked it, even more so than Vista. Unfortunately it will be a long time before we stray from XP at work because a lot of our applications do no run on Vista/7. I have an OEM copy of Vista at home so no upgrading for me.
