I know I tap a black wire on the CAS harness....but there are 2 black wires. Anyone feel like telling me which one to tap? Thanks!

You will probalby like it more without the rpm wire hooked up. Without it hooked up, the MAFTrans defaults to an air flow only mode. The rpm changes it makes can upset the ECU calibrations a little. Just use the adjustment knobs to get it as close as possible. It's better to let your ECU handle the fuel by itself than to have 2 units trying to adjust the fuel mixture based on load, etc.

OK, so you are saying just forget the whole RPM signal wire and let my ECU and AFC do the rest? Fine by me...wasn't going to use it for tuning anyway (besides setting the base for 650cc injectors).

That would be the best way to do it. If you didn't have the S-AFC, then you would use the MAFTrans knobs. Depending on how things are adjusting out, you might need or want to use both.

Thanks for the insight, I have never heard to run w/o the RPM signal before but it does make sense...i don't need that box trying to think for me too.

I just got mine in tonight.... AWESOME!!!! I am tuning with a safc and i just left the 2 wires unpluged (white and purpel). im doing a draw through setup untill i finnish weldiing my uicp. I am happy with this setup so far, it idles perfect (unlike the hacked 1g mas), and doesnt hit over run (also like the hacked 1g mas).
