Egg + 70 mph = ...

So I'm on my way to work last night traveling east on 62. I see some people up on a pedestrian bridge and don't really think anything of it. As I pass under the bridge I see this white thing about 10 feet off the ground, next thing I know I hear a pretty loud whack and see some stuff splattered on the windshield and side window. Got to work and couldn't really figure out what it was since there wasn't much light, so I looked at it again this morning and saw the remains of an egg shell, the yolk and some egg white streaked down the side of my car. The biggest piece of shell was maybe 5mm square. Since egg can be pretty bad for paint I decided to wash it off as soon as I got home this morning. When I got done washing it, this is what I found....

Damn that really sucks :( After dodging some mustard and ketchup packets (I think) in the S2k with the top down I'm always very wary of people overhead on bridges.

That really sucks! I had a friend that had that happen to him with his brand new custom truck on black paint as well. if you dont want to repaint it I would use this and it will camo most of the damage and works great. http://www.turtlewax.com/main.taf?p=2,1,4,5

I don't think that turtle wax stuff will help. The fenders have apparently been replaced as the chips go all the way through the black paint down to white paint underneath it. They're pretty nasty chips. :(

It will work. It will fill it in. I have done it with a few small spots on my black 2g. Actually works pretty good.
